In addition to maintaining and increasing a capital fund for the future development of Subud, the Foundation makes grants to Subud groups around the world to assist them in purchasing and improving their own Subud house for the develompent of the Latihan Kejiwaan.
Within our Subud organizational structure, the Foundation is not considered to be a ‘wing’, but rather a support organization that is a complementary partner to the World Subud Association that works towards the same mission. It is both a separate legal corporation in the U.S.A. as well as a charitable entity registered as a nonprofit organization with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the taxation division in US government.
The Foundation supports travel for International Helpers through grants
to the World Subud Association. Each year International Helpers travel in
the three Areas of the globe meeting with Subud groups of all sizes,
attending national Subud events and working with national, regional and
local helpers.
In an average year, the 18 international helpers make over 80
journeys to approximately 50 countries.
MSF has continuously supported the preservation of Bapak ́s and Ibu Rahayu’s talks where grants are provided to the World Subud Association Archives Committee (WSAA).
