During the World Subud Congress held in Kalimantan, Indonesia in July 2024, the new board of Trustees met the Foundations that hold the largest asset of Subud in the world.
The Yayasan Muhammad Subuh and Yayasan Subud are the foundations in charge of safeguarding important Subud assets on behalf of the World Subud Association through the MSF.
Yayasan Muhammad Subuh (YMS) holds Adi Puri building, former Bapak House as well as the Archive House. Yayasan Subud (YS) holds the Latihan hall, the Guest House, several apartments and plots of land located within the Wisma Subud Cilandak housing compound in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The new board of trustees and the two foundations met during the World Congress celebrated in Kalimantan at the beautiful Pendopo building in Rungan Sari. It was very grateful to know that the Adi Puri building has been refurbished and its ready to rent spaces for commercial use.
Yet, both foundations still face many challenges, such as affording land taxes, land certificate renovation and improving professional services in the hotel and events market.
It was a great opportunity to meet and strengthen relations with both new teams. MSF expects to cooperate closely with both Foundations to accomplish the main challenges for this new term.
