This year the Subud World Council meeting took place in Rungan Sari, Indonesia. Along with other council members, the MSF team participated in several kejiwaan sessions and council meetings. Also, the team met with the two foundations in Indonesia that currently hold WSA assets on MSF’s behalf. Yayasan Subud holds and manages assets in Wisma Subud. The main Subud latihan hall, the guesthouse, and some land within the compound. Yayasan Muhammad Subuh holds Adi Puri (formerly Bapak’s home) and the ‘Archive house’ in Wisma Subud, Jakarta.
Usually, MSF meets once a year with both Indonesian foundations. A general willingness to cooperate towards the rejuvenation of Wisma Subud is a major outcome of this year’s meetings.
Adi Puri (former Bapak’s house in Wisma Subud) has undergone a complete renovation, with most of its premises now occupied by businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs. At the same time, a group of Subud members is working on the renovation of the guest house, with the vision of opening its hospitality services also to the general public.
MSF is delighted to contribute to this shared vision of revitalizing Wisma Subud, working in cooperation with the foundations in Indonesia. These developments represent an exciting step toward renewing and strengthening this important space for the Subud community.
During the Congress, the MSF team also dedicated time to its annual strategic planning. This collaborative process provided an opportunity to reflect, align, and set a clear direction for the year ahead. Together, the team identified key activities, priorities, and indicators to help measure progress and ensure that the objectives are being achieved.
As with all of MSF’s work, this planning process is grounded in the inner guidance received by each Foundation member during their term, together with the support and accompaniment of the International Helpers as liaisons.
